100 Days of Scouting – Day 43

Today I:

  • Picked from which of Shakespeare’s play, act and scene the boys will play out at the den meeting next week; just need to clean up the formatting and assign parts
  • Was advised by our DE that our district’s training chair has requested we cancel training for Outdoor Leader Skills scheduled for next weekend (4/1-3) due to “lack of registrations”
  • Solicited advice via Twitter from SCOUTNATION (thanks @bryanspellman) how others handle training when there is a low number of registrations
  • Emailed training chair to get a better understanding of his reasoning for wanting to cancel
  • Set up time to meet with others to plan our District Recognition Dinner that is next Thursday (this is a blog entry in and of itself)

My favorite scouting activity of the day was the first on today’s list.
